Panel on Absentees Landscapes at The Hive
Panel with Linda Caballero-Sotelo(Executive Director of http://newamericansmuseum.org ), Morad Elsana from the Bedouin community of Lakia, and Teaching Fellow at California Western School of Law, San Diego), Edith Koppel (from the Deller Family) and Charlene Seidle as moderator.
Morad gave a very importan insight on the situation of the Bedouin communities in Israel, on the unrecognized and recognized villages. Linda connected the project to the binational border USA/Mexico situation and to art projects dealing with it. The surprising and unexpected visit of the grand daughter of Alberto Deller who sat by herself as a child in the Deller Sukkah in Fischach was amazing.
