Site-specific installation, in the frame of “Heara 5”, Sergey Courtyard, Jerusalem
Stretching the Memorial is a fax installation done in a state burocratic office which was abandoned in the year 2000 remaining untoched till Heara 5.
The whole wall designed by the clerk (posters of politicians, drawings, maps…) was copied by fax stretching the original. A new wall, a memorial of the office was built. A memorial which was – because of the nature of the thermal paper – destined to disappear before the original clerk’s office.
